Atlanta, Ga.-based Arrow Exterminators acquired Hutto Pest Services, headquartered in Pflugerville, Texas, a suburb in northeast Austin, Texas.

From its office in Travis County, Hutto Pest Services is a full-service integrated pest management company providing pest and termite control services to residential and commercial customers in Austin, Georgetown, Hutto, Round Rock, Taylor and surrounding communities in Texas.

Leonard Myers founded the family-owned and operated company, with his wife, Karen, and son Len at his side running the business for the past dozen years.  Leonard and Karen are retiring, while Len and the remaining Hutto Pest team members will remain with the company.

“We are very pleased to have merged with the Hutto Pest organization, which has a great reputation for service in the state of Texas,” said Emily Thomas Kendrick, CEO of Arrow Exterminators.  “This office gives us 12 service centers throughout the state of Texas and a total of 170 offices in the country. “

“I learned the importance of treating my employees and customers like family from my father-in-law more than 30 years ago and that philosophy has treated us very well.  It really has been the secret to our success,” Myers said.

“Hutto Pest is a wonderful name in this part of Texas, and we are proud to have this strong team of professionals join the Arrow family,” stated Tim Pollard, Arrow Exterminator’s president and Chief Operating Officer. “South Texas is a very important market to us as we continue to grow opportunities for our existing and new team members.”

PCO M&A Specialists and the Law Offices of Mark Ruff represented Hutto Pest Services for this transaction.
