Plunkett’s Pest Control recently acquired two companies.

Plunkett’s Pest Control acquired Mission Pest Management, a Greenville, Pa.-based pest control company.

It provides full-service pest control services in the surrounding areas of Greenville, Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio. This acquisition merges two privately owned pest control companies and expands Plunkett’s service capabilities in the greater Greenville and Pittsburgh areas.

“We are excited to welcome Mission Pest Control to the Plunkett’s Pest Control team,” Aly Silvia-Mulgrew, president of Plunkett’s Pest Control, said in the news release. “Mark Hoffacker has a great reputation for providing quality pest control services to his customers, and we are happy to have him on board.”

“As we contemplated selling our business, it was important to us that our customers continued to experience the same values and family-oriented atmosphere that has been a cornerstone of our company,” Hoffacker, owner of Mission Pest Management, said. “We were apprehensive about selling to a larger corporation, but when the Aust Group introduced us to Plunkett’s, we knew it was the right fit. We were thrilled to discover a like-minded company that shared our values and commitment to providing exceptional service. I am excited to join the Plunkett’s team, return to the field, and work together to explore new opportunities. Together, we can build upon our strengths and take our service to new heights. The collaboration between our companies is sure to be a win-win for all involved.”

Mission Pest Management was founded in 2010 by Mark and Terri Hoffacker, who dedicated themselves to supporting both national and international missions through volunteering and fundraising efforts. Mark, who had already spent 33 years in the pest industry, brought his extensive experience and expertise to the business. Terri, on the other hand, played a crucial role in managing the administrative tasks that kept the company running smoothly. As part of the transition to Plunkett’s Pest Control, Terri will temporarily join their team in an advisory capacity to ensure a smooth transition. She is eagerly anticipating her retirement and spending more time with their four children and soon-to-be four grandchildren. Mark, on the other hand, will take on a new role as supervisor at Plunkett’s, bringing his wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.

Plunkett’s Pest Control acquired Total Care Pest Management, an Eastern Kansas-based pest control company that provides full-service pest control services in the surrounding areas.

The acquisition merges two privately owned pest control companies and expands Plunkett’s service capabilities in the Eastern Kansas area.

“Plunkett’s is proud to welcome Paul and all Total Care customers to the Plunkett’s family. We are equally excited that Paul has agreed to join Plunkett’s lending his years of experience, customer relationships and market knowledge to our already strong Kansas Team,” Silva-Mulgrew said.

“As I contemplated selling Total Care Pest Management, I aimed to find a company that shared my core values of putting the customers first and having a family-centric approach. After being introduced to Plunkett’s, I realized they were the right fit for me. I am excited to become part of the Plunkett’s team and eagerly anticipate returning to the field to do what I love: providing exceptional customer care,” Paul Wikoff, owner of Total Care Pest Management, said in the news release.

Wikoff established Total Care Pest Management in 2016, catering to the Eastern Kansas community. Armed with almost 11 years of experience in pest control, Wikoff created his enterprise to mirror his individual goals of prioritizing people and leading his staff through servant leadership. Wikoff is set to join Plunkett’s team as a technician, remaining committed to serving his customers in Eastern Kansas.
