Rockit Pest acquires Ace Exterminating

Rockit Pest acquires Ace Exterminating, as the former owner Chris Powell, has been called to serve in the National Guard.

While serving as a local pest expert in Horry County, S.C., Powell has also served in the National Guard for the last 15 years with deployments to Kuwait and Afghanistan. When Powell got the news he would once again be deploying for active duty, he decided that selling Ace Exterminating would be the best option for his family and for their customers.

As a small, family-owned business, and short notice of deployment, Powell knew he would have to act swiftly to make the right decision for Ace Exterminating. In many cases, selling a company can take months to finalize, and for Powell, time was of the essence. When going through his options, Powell selected Rockit Pest with the confidence they would be the best steward for the legacy he built.
