To help pest management professionals (PMPs) expand their organic and sensitive-account offerings, Zoëcon Professional Products has expanded the label for Essentria Mosquito & Tick (M&T) Concentrate.
Exempt from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act, or FIFRA 25(b), this essential-oil-based solution originally only targeted mosquitoes and ticks. The expanded label significantly broadens the product’s target spectrum to include:
- Flies: House flies, lesser house flies and fruit flies
- Ants: Red imported fire ants, pharaoh ants and odorous house ants
- Spiders and mites: Cobweb spiders, black widow spiders and spider mites
- Occasional invaders: Crickets and spotted lanternfly nymphs
Essentria M&T Concentrate has no label restrictions, and it meets/exceeds guidelines for efficacy and formulation established by the American Association of Pest Control Officials (AAPCO), the official 25b work group founded by the EPA. While an ideal solution for sensitive areas, this hard-hitting formula is tough on mosquitoes, offering kill and 14 days of residual repellency. From shrubbery and under porches and decks to schools and boat docks, Essentria M&T Concentrate is designed to offer the application flexibility PMPs need to deliver efficient, effective control. Essentria M&T Concentrate is also a water-based formulation, giving it the flexibility to be used in/with automated spraying systems, fogging systems and mist blowers for broadcast, barrier and perimeter treatments.
