Two pest control firms recently expanded in their local markets: Sureguard Termite & Pest Services of Dallas, Texas, and Bug Busters of Atlanta, Ga.
Sureguard Termite & Pest Services acquired Champion Pest Control of Dallas, a family-owned company serving the Dallas-Fort Worth market. “We are excited to be able to service the Champion customers and provide them with the personalized services that they are accustomed to,” Mike Houston, president of Sureguard Termite & Pest Services, said in the news release. “We can also provide them with additional services that were not previously available by Champion.”
Lawrence Cepeda said he was happy to transition his firm to another third-generation, family-owned company. “My grandpa, Ben Silva of Bens Pest Control, knew Mike Houston, and I was trying to run the business both in Dallas and San Antonio,” he explained in the news release. “It was too hard to try and run both locations… The process was easy, Mike was very detailed about everything and answered all the questions I had. They worked with me having to travel back and forth from San Antonio. To me, everything went as expected, I know have a huge burden lifted off my chest and know my clients were in good hands.”
In addition, Bug Busters acquired Bee Mindful Mosquito of Atlanta, Ga.
“We are thrilled to welcome Bee Mindful Mosquito to the Bug Busters family,” Court Parker, CEO of the 39-year-old company, said in the news release. “Their expertise in mosquito control aligns perfectly with our commitment to providing innovative solutions for our customers.”
In the coming months, Bug Busters plans to work closely with the Bee Mindful Mosquito team to integrate operations.
