The Aust Group announced the acquisition of its client Pest Management Solutions, d.b.a. Masters Touch Pest Solutions, to Viking Pest Control, an Anticimex company.
Masters Touch Pest Solutions, headquartered in Exton, Pa., is a full-service pest and termite control business, offering services to residential and commercial customers throughout Chester County and Southeastern Pennsylvania. Originally established in 1991 by Thomas Rowles, the business was purchased by industry veteran Jeff Sameth in January 2008. Sameth, the son and grandson of Pest Management Professional Hall of Famers Dick Sameth and J.E. Sameth, respectively, previously served in multiple leadership roles at his family’s business, Western Pest Services, which today is a Rollins brand. Masters Touch Pest Solutions, under Sameth’s leadership, experienced significant expansion by combining a strong background in the pest control industry with the highest standards of quality and customer care. Masters Touch Pest Solutions is also a member of National Pest Management Association (NPMA) and Pennsylvania Pest Management Association (PPMA).
“The decision to sell my company did not come easy,” Sameth said in the news release. “However, when the time came, I knew I needed guidance to help me through the transition of selling my company. After much research searching for the right fit, The Aust Group was at the top of my list.”
Stuart Aust, Pprincipal of The Aust Group, added, “On behalf of The Aust Group team, we are thrilled for Jeff and the Viking team regarding this acquisition. It was a pleasure getting to know Jeff through this process and learning about his professional business and culture. Now under the Viking platform, we are excited to see the future growth of Masters Touch.”
The Aust Group represented Masters Touch Pest Solutions on the transaction. The transaction closed on July 31, and the terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The Law Offices of Mark H. Ruff, P.A. represented Masters Touch Pest Solutions as legal counsel.
