Dallas, Texas-based Sureguard Termite & Pest Services recently acquired Premier Pest Control of Dallas.
Premier Pest Control is a family-owned pest control company serving the Dallas area.
We are excited to be able to service the Premier customers and provide them with the personalized services that they are accustomed to. We also provide additional services that were not previously available by Premier.” Mike Houston, president of Sureguard Termite & Pest Services, said in the news release.
Operating with 10 technicians and three office staff members, Jim Jeffrey, owner of Premier Pest Control, wanted to find a family-owned company to transition all his customers to, according to the news release.
“I knew Sureguard was a great pest control company but as I watched the processes of getting the team and customer base transitioned, I quickly realized the Sureguard team was great at acquisitions,” Jeffrey said.
Houston and Jeffrey originally spoke in 2019, but then the Covid-19 pandemic started, which included many uncertainties. Jeffrey decided at that time he wanted to wait to look at exiting the business. Communicating a few times over the years, Jeffrey was ready to talk. As part of Sureguard Termite & Pest Services’ streamlined process, after Jeffrey and Mike spoke, Jim got the information requested, terms were reached, and the sale was completed a few weeks later.
Sureguard Termite & Pest Services is a third-generation pest management company owned by the Houston family, who has been in the pest control industry since 1967. Premier is the 21 acquisition since 2015.
