The Aust Group announced the acquisition of its client Atlas Pest and Wildlife Control to Orkin Canada, a Rollins subsidiary.

Atlas Pest and Wildlife Control, headquartered in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, is a full-service pest and nuisance wildlife control business, offering comprehensive services to predominantly commercial and multi-family clientele throughout the greater Vancouver area. Established in 2015, Atlas was formed by Raymond Arthurs and Katelyn Curkic and grew into the largest privately owned pest control operation in the Lower Mainland — with over 50 trucks deployed on the road daily. Atlas has also been awarded the Surrey Consumer Choice Award for the last three consecutive years and is an active member of the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) and the Canadian Pest Management Association.

“After meeting Stuart almost 15 years ago, he was the first person I thought of when I made the decision to sell,” Arthurs, CEO and president of Atlas, said in the news release. “A lot goes into the process and I’m glad I didn’t do it alone. I’ve held countless meetings with clients to propose them our services, but selling your business is totally different. Having worked in pest control and now on the M&A side, The Aust Group team was able to fully understand our business because they lived it.”

The Aust Group represented Atlas Pest and Wildlife Control on the transaction. The transaction closed on Sept. 1, and the terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
