Sherrill Pest Control was founded in 1950 by Horace Sherrill. He started helping families protect their homes from insects, ants and other pests. Almost 10 years later, Sherrill moved the pest control operation to middle Tennessee and his four children joined the company. After running the business and building a great reputation for 25 years, he sold the middle Tennessee interest to his oldest son Vernon “Jr.” Sherrill. In a parking lot of a customer’s home, Jr. scratched out a logo on a napkin and Sherrill Pest Control exterminators was officially born.
