About GPCA

Founded in 1950 with just 16 original members, the Georgia Pest Control Association’s mission is to promote the standards and ethics of the pest control industry and provide ongoing education to those in the industry. This includes the advancement of research and to cooperate with the National Pest Management Association, government authorities and education institutions for the good of the community and the pest control industry.

Among GPCA’s outreach committees is GA PestVets, the first of its kind, formed in 2020. The organization is committed to making professional pest management an industry of choice for military veterans in the Peach State. It is a state unit of the National Pest Management Association’s (NPMA’s) Pest Vets Council. Per its web page: “We want to be recognized as the best industry for veterans to work in and as an industry that supports and contributes to veterans.”
