The rebrand follows the company’s acquisition of two North Carolina-based heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) companies, formally known as Cornerstone Comfort and Get-Air-Done, as well as adding a general contractor and experienced plumbers and electricians to its team.

To accommodate and recruit its growing workforce, the company also moved its Triad headquarters to the Carolina Core Wellness building, located at 4000 Ossi Court in north High Point. The new headquarters boasts an on-site coffee shop — where employees get a monthly spending stipend — a fitness gym, drop-in childcare, multiple on-site wellness providers, and more. The company retains its warehouse on Piedmont Parkway.

“We have always had good relationships with local HVAC, plumbing and electrical companies throughout our service areas in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia, to whom we could confidently refer our pest control customers,” Chase Hazelwood, owner and CEO of Go-Forth Home Services, and both a Top 40 Under 40 and Most Admired CEO award winner, said in a news release. “We have always known our customers have additional home services needs beyond pest control, but in the past, we were unable to fulfill those needs ourselves. And as the Triad, Triangle and Charlotte areas specifically, along other areas we service, continue to rapidly grow, we felt there was an increased need for not only pest control, but HVAC, plumbing and electrical services as well. So we jumped at the opportunity to grow our business and the career opportunities for our team, and we knew this would help our customers as well, who could now have one trusted company — one point of contact — to help with many of their home services needs.”

Go-Forth Home Services acquired Gastonia, N.C.-based Cornerstone Comfort in 2023. In that same year, Go-Forth acquired Concord, NC-based Get-Air-Done. With these acquisitions came decades of experience and expert staff, including Andy Ray, who was previously the owner of Get Air Done and now serves as HVAC general manager at Go-Forth Home Services.

“Joining the team at Go-Forth Home Services allowed me to continue to apply my decades of experience in the HVAC business and now do so with the infrastructure and resources of a successful, growing 65-year-old multi-state company that still has the same close, family-owned feel I have always been proud to provide,” Ray said in the news release. “The sophisticated technology our HVAC team now has by being a part of Go-Forth provides an excellent experience for both the customer and employee. Not to mention, our customers seem so happy to know our same company can now help if they have a leaky faucet, ants in their kitchen, a light switch that isn’t working, or a problem with their heat in the winter.”

Go-Forth’s plumbing expertise is amplified by Regional Manager Ben Kiefer, who has a decade of plumbing experience along with a general contractor’s license, and is a pest control certified applicator. “So many of the home issues we are called to help with are related,” Kiefer noted in the news release. ”Many times, a pest issue is caused by or exacerbated by a water issue such as a leaky faucet. Now, our company can address both issues.”

“Our team was tasked with performing market research on the region’s readiness for a rebrand, as well as a move into new service offerings,” Leah Hazelwood, CEO of Go Forth Marketing, said in the news release. “We found that the Go-Forth brand and logo has strong recognition and a positive reputation. What we discovered is that Go-Forth Home Services will need its marketing efforts to leverage the history of the brand while simultaneously enforcing that they have made investments to bring in experience and experts in these new lines of business that are different from what the company has been doing for 60-plus years.”

In addition to Go-Forth Home Services, Chase and Leah Hazelwood lead multiple business ventures in the Triad. Leah is the owner and CEO of Go Forth Marketing, which was born out of the growing marketing department of Go-Forth Home Services in April 2022. The couple are members of the Carolina Core FC ownership group and serve on the board of directors for the Carolina Core FC Academy.

“My wife and I are involved in some of the efforts to revitalize the quality of life here in the Triad, such as our investment, leadership and sponsorship in the new pro soccer team, CCFC, as well as its training center, academy and youth league,” explains Hazelwood. “So we are very aware of the exciting growth happening in the Triad. Because of this growth, we believe that there will be increased demand for all home services, and feel confident that by bringing in experienced experts in HVAC, plumbing and electrical, we will be able to help meet many of the needs of a increased population, with the same level of professionalism they have grown to expect from the Go-Forth brand.”
