Atlanta, Ga.-based Arrow Exterminators acquired Anchor Environmental in Charleston, S.C. Anchor is a full-service company that provides termite and pest control services to residents and businesses in the counties of Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester.
“We welcome the customers and team members of Anchor to the Arrow family with open arms,” said Emily Thomas Kendrick, CEO of Arrow Exterminators. “Anchor’s customers are thrilled with the service they receive, and the location of the business is ideal, which makes it a perfect merger for us.”
Anchor’s owner Karl Kuester spoke on the decision to merge with Arrow.
“The team at Arrow have proven to me that they will stay true to our family culture as we transition going forward,” Kuester said. “We are very proud to be part of the Arrow family and am truly excited for my team members as they will be afforded opportunities that I cannot offer them.”
Anchor Environmental will now operate as Stark Exterminators. The move creates Arrow‘s second location in Charleston, as the company continues to expand its presence in the Palmetto State.
“Charleston is the largest city in the state of South Carolina and is growing at three times the national average, so it is a highly valued market for us. Karl has built a wonderful team and we are looking forward to the synergy both companies will experience as we merge them together,” siad Tim Pollard, president and COO of Arrow.
