Total Pest Control of Southington, Conn., acquired AtBay. AtBay has been in business since 2010 and provides mouseproofing and wildlife exclusion services throughout New Haven, Hartford, Litchfield and Fairfield counties.

Total Pest Control was established in 2019 by husband-and-wife team Mark and Lisa Hayden. Mark is a retired military officer and president of Total Pest Control. He has more than 30 years of experience in the pest management industry.

“Mark is a forward-thinking leader in the pest control industry, embracing a shift toward exclusion and prevention and offering long-term solutions,” said Paul Trapp, owner of AtBay. “I am excited for Mark and his team to be able to provide this service to their customers.”

According to Lisa Hayden, vice president of Total Pest Control, customers have been requesting more of a permanent solution to deter mice and wildlife from entering their homes.

”We believe this acquisition will fill that need for those customers and are looking forward to adding exclusion to our menu of services,“ she added.
