The Guarded Harvest Project unveils advisory board, board of directors

The Guarded Harvest Project (TGHP), an initiative dedicated to advancing food security through research-driven, adaptive agricultural strategies, has formed an advisory board. The non-profit organization also revealed its board of directors. These professionals bring expertise from academia, industry and leadership to guide TGHP’s mission of creating sustainable and regenerative solutions for agricultural resilience.

Advisory board members

The advisory board provides strategic guidance and specialized expertise. These leaders contribute insights on entomology, pest management, corporate strategy and industry best practices.

  • Dr. Faith Oi is the director of Pest Management University at the University of Florida and is a member of Pest Management Professional’s Editorial Advisory Board
  • Dr. Nancy Troyano, BCE, is the director of education and training for Reading, Pa.-based Rentokil Terminix
  • Melisa Manns is the founder and president of m3 Advisory
  • Faye Golden is the NPMA president and the director of governmental affairs for Cook’s Pest Control
  • Dale Baker is the president of J.T. Eaton
  • James Miller, ACE, is the market manager and pest control operator at Trécé Incorporated

Board of directors

The Board of Directors will oversee governance and strategic direction. This leadership team brings expertise across nonprofit management, pest control, finance and marketing.

  • Dan Baldwin, BCE, REHS/RS, CCFS, CP-FS,PCQI, is the founder and president of TGHP and the vice president of technical services at Hawx Pest Control in Tombstone, Ariz. He is also a frequent contributor and PMP Editorial Advisory Board member.
  • Samantha Malone is the director of public relations and marketing for TGHP and the owner of Olympia Pest Management.
  • Celso Chapparo is the secretary/treasurer of TGHP and the CFO of Hawx Marketing.

About The Guarded Harvest Project

TGHP prioritizes stabilizing and strengthening sustainable practices, repairing damaged ecosystems and restoring soil health as critical steps toward fully regenerative agriculture. Through adaptive modeling and collaboration, TGHP is working toward a scalable, locally driven framework for food security – one that evolves and ensures self-reliance, equity and resilience in the agricultural sector.
