Minneapolis, Minn.-based Plunkett’s Pest Control and Varment Guard Wildlife Services have announced Supervisor University 2025, taking place Nov. 3-5 at the Heritage Center of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. This annual event provides an immersive experience focused on leadership, professional growth and innovation in the pest control industry. This year’s theme, “Blaze the Trail, Lead Your Pack,” celebrates the role of supervisors as trailblazers—guiding their teams with vision, strategy and purpose while fostering environments where every team member can thrive.
Supervisor University 2025 will explore how lessons from nature and leadership principles can strengthen teams, sharpen decision-making and enhance collaboration. Like skilled wilderness guides, effective leaders navigate challenges with patience, adaptability and thoughtful planning. Participants will gain insights into resilience, collaboration, problem- solving and fostering trust, leaving empowered to create environments where every team member can thrive.
The three-day event will bring together more than 100 of our supervisors from across the nation, offering them the opportunity to engage directly with speakers, participate in workshops and gain insights that will help them lead with confidence and drive success within their teams.
Aly Silva Mulgrew, President of Plunkett’s Pest Control, said in a release, “Supervisor University is more than an event, it’s a journey in leadership development. Our theme, ‘Blaze the Trail, Lead Your Pack,’ reflects the spirit of this event. By bringing together speakers, sponsors and supervisors to inspire new ways of leading, the goal is to equip every attendee with the tools to guide their teams confidently, navigate challenges successfully and drive meaningful growth in their organizations.”
The event features a distinguished lineup of speakers offering practical, actionable insights. Laura Schara will present “Life Lessons From the Great Outdoors,” illustrating how experiences in nature provide lessons for leadership, personal growth and team development. Ross Bernstein, best-selling author and acclaimed leadership speaker, will present “Wearing the C: Leadership Lessons from the Greatest Captains and Coaches,” sharing strategies supervisors can use to motivate, inspire and lead with confidence. Scott Welle will lead “Upping Your Game: How to Build a High Performing Team,” providing tools to enhance teamwork, accountability and overall performance.
Attendees will also enjoy several interactive experiences throughout the three-day program. To kick off the event, Liphatech will host the Opening Night Reception, where attendees can network in a relaxed setting while also learning about Liphatech’s newest product, RESOLV® Mini Blocks Bait, designed to deliver effective rodent control in a convenient new formulation. The program will also feature the Vendor Fair, showcasing the latest tools, technologies and innovations from industry partners and the Department Fair, which allows supervisors to connect directly with Plunkett’s and Varment Guard teams to learn more about internal resources and initiatives.
