Brownyard Group, a nationally recognized specialty program insurance manager, marks its 75th anniversary in the specialty insurance industry with a renewed commitment to innovation and a fresh, new look.

Founded in 1950 by Bill Brownyard, the Bayshore, N.Y.-based company began with a groundbreaking insurance program for security professionals — the first of its kind in the nation. Today, Brownyard is recognized as the longest-running, family-owned program administrator in the U.S., serving the professional pest management industry and nine other industries across all 50 states.

Over the last 75 years, Brownyard has grown from a single program into a nationally recognized leader known for its deep industry expertise, specialized coverages and exceptional service. Throughout this period, the specialty insurance market has moved from a niche offering to a vital component in the global insurance industry. Brownyard has kept pace with this change, leveraging technological advancements to achieve greater operational efficiency and provide more extensive and personalized offerings to support insurance agents, who remain a trusted guiding force for clients.

The new visual identity and redesigned website at Brownyard.com reflects the company’s rich history with a nod toward the future. The refresh features an updated logo, new colors, and a more modern look and feel. The redesigned website is engineered to create a simpler user experience for brokers and clients to easily explore programs, access resources and request quotes.
