Cetane Associates (“Cetane”) is pleased to announce that Barton Taylor has joined its financial advisory firm as a Director, effective January 1, 2026. Barton brings over a decade of experience in financial roles with professional services businesses. With the addition of Barton, Cetane officially expands into the motor fuels and convenience retail space.

Before joining Cetane Associates, Taylor spent time with Texas-based Corner Capital Partners, where he advised clients on buy-side and sell-side transactions across the downstream energy value chain, including convenience retail, dealer fuel and lubricant distribution, cardlock operations, commercial fuels and mobile fueling businesses. He holds an MBA from the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University and a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
He joined Cetane to support the firm’s expansion into the motor fuels and convenience retail sector. As a director at Cetane, Barton will work with clients nationwide, drawing on his transaction experience and industry knowledge to guide business owners through valuation and sale processes.
