Truly Nolen Pest Control recently announced that Yossi Harush has been promoted to operations manager of the company’s Miami-Dade, Fla., commercial service office.

Yossi Harush

Harush joined Truly Nolen in August 2021 as a commercial technician for the company’s Broward/Palm Beach County commercial service office and spent the next four years taking on more responsibilities in multiple roles.

Before joining Truly Nolen, he spent three years in the pest control industry, working with both Costa Farms, beginning in 2018 in the agriculture sector and Ecolab in 2020, where he learned the complexities of commercial pest control and route optimization and was honored as that company’s rookie of the year. Harush holds two degrees, an sssociate degree in business administration and an associate degree in child development from Tel Aviv University in Israel.

Some of Harush’s new responsibilities will include helping the service office gain more visibility with the local Miami-Dade commercial community as well as instilling the company’s core values throughout his team.

“What excites me the most about my new role is the impact I can have on others. I enjoy influencing and inspiring my teammates to push themselves to be better every day and to take pride in their accomplishments,” said Harush, in a news release. “My favorite thing about working for Truly Nolen is knowing my future development is in my hands.”

“Yossi’s focus, drive, attention-to-detail and ability to motivate others made him an easy choice for his new role,” said Verne Keller, commercial division manager. “I look forward to what the future brings and I am proud he is part of our team.”

Truly Nolen Pest Control recently announced the promotion of Gustavo “Gus” Alvare to operations manager of the company’s South Miami service office.

Gus Alvare

Alvare joined Truly Nolen in March 2025 as a manager-in-training. Prior to joining the company, he was a manager for six years in the automotive industry with Safelite Auto Glass and Hertz, as well as five years in the food industry with Burger King. He holds a bachelor’s in supervision and management from Miami-Dade College and an MBA from Valencia International University in Spain.

Some of Alvare’s new responsibilities will include helping the service office gain more visibility with the local South Miami community as well as instilling the company’s core values throughout his team.

“I am most excited to continue the same culture I was brought in with and do what I can to help my team be successful every day,” Alvare added in a news release. “My favorite thing about working for Truly Nolen is the family environment along with the amount of resources available and people we can contact for assistance within the company.”

“Gus’ ability to consistently influence team members to be the best version of themselves, attention-to-detail and managerial experience in other industries made him the perfect person for his new role,” said David Batista, area manager, South Florida and Treasure Coast. “I look forward to his continued growth and success, and I am proud he is part of our team.”
