IPMA hosts annual Spring Training

The Indiana Pest Management Association (IPMA) recently welcomed more than 100 pest control professionals from across the state for its annual Spring Training event at the iconic Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum.

Now in its fifth consecutive year at the Auburn venue, the training once again brought together industry professionals for a full day of education, networking and professional development in one of Indiana’s most unique meeting spaces.

“Each year this training continues to grow, and the museum provides a truly memorable setting for our members,” said Rob Jackson, president of IPMA. “We’re very thankful for the space the museum provides and for the opportunity to bring pest management professionals together in such a distinctive environment.”

The event featured a lineup of respected industry experts presenting on a range of topics critical to modern pest management:

  • Tracy Sullivan, AAC Distributors — “Mice…The Perfect Problem”
  • Scott Underwood, Oldham Chemical Company — Safety and Sensitive Accounts
  • Adrian Culpepper, BASF — “From Slab to Crawlspace: Where Termites Find Their Footing”
  • Tessa Bergefurd, Syngenta — Ant Control
  • Allison Beach, Rose Pest Solutions / Franklin Pest Control — “Arthropod Potpourri”
  • Bill Reid, OISC – Regulatory Update

Jackson also expressed appreciation for the speakers and vendors who contributed their expertise and support to the event, noting that their participation helps make the training valuable for attendees each year.

In addition to the educational sessions, the event served as a strong networking opportunity. Most allied member companies were represented, allowing pest management professionals to connect with industry suppliers, manufacturers and colleagues from across Indiana.

The Indiana Pest Management Association hosts multiple events throughout the year to help pest control professionals stay informed about best practices, emerging pest trends and regulatory updates while strengthening connections within the industry.
