
The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) recently announced that registration is now open for Academy 2026, taking place July 21–23, 2026, at the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. This year’s theme, “Christmas in July,” invites attendees to unwrap their potential through three days of immersive leadership development.
The Academy is the NPMA’s premier leadership development experience for rising pest management professionals. Over three days, attendees build real skills, strengthen industry relationships and return with the confidence to take the next step in their careers.

Academy 2026 features interactive Learning Labs, including sessions on leveraging generative AI, sales strategies for commercial and residential growth, leading a multigenerational workforce, employee engagement, and change management and onboarding. The program also includes Brain Dates, small group, peer-led discussions focused on real-world challenges and emerging trends across the industry.
Additional highlights include the Academy Olympics and networking events such as the Welcome Reception and Academy Awards Banquet.
About the NPMA
The National Pest Management Association is a non-profit organization with more than 4,000 members. It was established in 1933 to support the pest management industry’s commitment to the protection of public health, food and property from the diseases and dangers of pests. The association has had many notable leaders over the years, including Pest Management Professional Hall of Famers Bill Buettner (Class of 1998), Dr. Ralph Heal (Class of 2003), Dr. Phil Spear (Class of 2004) and Bob Rosenberg (Class of 2013), to name just a few.
