The PWIPM New York chapter is set to host a networking event focused on networking and advocacy. The event will take place on Saturday July 11, 2026 at the Susan B. Anthony Museum & House in Rochester, N.Y.

Event overview

Connect with fellow Professional Women in Pest Management while exploring the rich history of women’s leadership and advocacy. Enjoy lunch and networking, take part in a guided tour led by museum docents and engage in a round table discussion focused on applying lessons from women’s history to today’s professional landscape. The event will also host multiple raffles.

The event is open to anyone who champions women in the industry.

Susan B Anthony was a pivotal figure in the women’s suffrage movement. Together with a small but determined group of peers in Upstate N.Y., her contribution sparked the women’s suffrage movement. Anthony’s tireless efforts inspired several generations, which ultimately lead to women earning the right to vote in addition to advancing other important social causes of the day. It is the chapter’s hope that attendees will draw lessons from her work in order to better advocate for women in pest management today.
