Pittsburgh, Pa.-based Fortress Pest Brands has acquired Miche Pest Control. Founded in 2019, Miche is based in Washington, D.C. with a service area that also encompasses Maryland and Northern Virginia. This marks Fortress’ second acquisition in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, following its acquisition of Senate Termite & Pest Control in 2025.
Fortress Pest Brands is a portfolio company of Riverarch Equity Partners, the private equity affiliate of The PNC Financial Services Group. Fortress’ other brands include Clayton, N.C.-based Neuse Termite and Pest Control and Chesapeake, Va.-based A-1 Inc. Exterminators.
