Florida Termite and Pest Control LLC (FTPC), a veteran-owned pest control company based in St. Petersburg, Fla., has announced that its company mascot, Good E. Gator, is now a registered service mark with the Florida Department of State.

Per the news release, “the mark was registered on Sept. 8, 2026, under registration number T26000001028, in Class 37. It covers pest control and extermination services for residential and commercial properties, termite inspection, monitoring and treatment services. The mascot is a winking cartoon alligator in a tan technician uniform and cap, giving a thumbs up and carrying a backpack sprayer. He first went into use on May 25, 2026, and now serves as FTPC’s official mascot on the company’s field materials, vehicles, and customer communications.”

Jim Beucher, FTPC owner and qualifying agent, noted in the release: “I’ve been in pest control since 1990, and in this business the most important thing you can do is show up: every visit, every season, for every customer. Good E. Gator puts a face on that promise. Making him a registered Florida service mark tells our customers we’re proud of it and we intend to keep it.”

With a motto of We’re very aFLORIDAble, the company notes that the “E” in Good E. Gator stands for “Ever-Ready” — accompanied by the tagline “We show up so bugs don’t.”
