Manny Martinez is retiring from Liphatech Inc., a leading industry solutions provider and a De Sangosse Group (DSG) company. He has had 15 years of service to the Milwaukee, Wis.-based company, 11 of them as CEO. Jennifer Dillon has been named Martinez’s successor and assumed the role of CEO effective Sept. 1, 2026, the beginning of Liphatech’s 2027 fiscal year. Martinez will stay on through the end of the year as CEO Emeritus to help with the transition.
“On behalf of DSG, I would like to sincerely thank Manny Martinez for his outstanding leadership, dedication and contribution to Liphatech over the past 15 years,” DSG CEO Nicolas Fillon said in a news release. “We are grateful to Manny for the lasting impact he has had on the business, its people and its future. Manny leaves behind a stronger, more competitive and better-positioned organization, providing an excellent foundation for the next stage of growth under Jennifer’s leadership.”
Under Martinez’s leadership, Liphatech strengthened its position within the U.S. rodent control market through a combination of strategic vision, disciplined execution and the commitment of its employees. His tenure helped establish a strong foundation for the company’s continued growth under Dillon’s leadership, Fillon said.
Dillon has worked closely alongside Martinez for many years and has progressively expanded her responsibilities across Liphatech in preparation for the leadership transition.
Throughout her 12-year tenure with the company, Dillon has developed extensive knowledge of Liphatech’s people, operations, processes and strategic priorities. Her leadership experience spans human resources, quality, information technology, safety, regulatory affairs, research and development, customer service and graphics, as well as more recent responsibilities involving operations and production.
Dillon also has gained significant exposure to Liphatech’s commercial, marketing and financial management activities, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of the organization and its customers.
“Jennifer’s appointment reflects our commitment to continuity, stability and developing talented leaders from within our businesses,” Fillon said. “She knows Liphatech exceptionally well, is highly respected throughout the organization and brings a broad understanding of the business to her new position. We are confident she is the right leader to build upon the strong foundation Manny and the Liphatech team have established and guided the company through its next phase of development.”
The leadership transition also reflects DSG’s philosophy that “sustainable growth is built upon strong local leadership, deep market knowledge, entrepreneurial spirit and the continued development of talent throughout its businesses,” per the news release.
“We sincerely thank Manny for everything he has contributed to Liphatech and De Sangosse Group and wish him the very best in retirement,” Fillon added. “At the same time, we congratulate Jennifer on her appointment and look forward to supporting her as Liphatech continues its growth and leadership journey in the years ahead.”
About Liphatech
With U.S. headquarters based in Milwaukee, Wis., Liphatech is a worldwide manufacturer of pest control products. It is considered to be the developer of three of the industry’s active ingredients: chlorophacinone, bromadiolone and difethialone. The company was founded in France in 1946 to develop anticoagulants for the treatment of heart patients. It developed chlorophacinone in the 1960s and branded it as Rozol, a family of products that includes grain and pelleted products for field and structural use, and a tracking powder for use in and around structures. In the 1970s, Liphatech developed bromadiolone, its original second-generation rodenticide active ingredient.
The innovations continued with the opening of its U.S. facility in 1987. Research there and in Europe resulted in the discovery of difethialone during the late 1980s, with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency registration as an active ingredient in 1995.
Liphatech is part of De Sangosse Group, an international, independent company focused on developing innovative solutions for agriculture, animal health and other markets. Through its businesses around the world, De Sangosse Group combines scientific expertise, entrepreneurial spirit and local market knowledge to support sustainable growth and deliver value to customers.
