The Aust Group (TAG) has announced two recent, finalized acquisition deals: The Killers Pest Control by Eastside Exterminators, an Anticimex Company, and Pest Control Plus Inc. by Tyro Group. The Vero Beach, Fla.-based mergers and acquisitions firm represented the selling company in both processes; financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 1982 and based in Portland, Ore., The Killers Pest Control serves more than 8,500 residential and commercial customers across three branches. Under the leadership of owners Matthew White and Felicia Hirata, The Killers is an active member of the National Pest Management Association (NPMA), the Professional Pest Management Alliance (PPMA) and the Oregon Pest Control Association (OPCA), the last of which White is a past president.
Based in Woodinville, Wash., Eastside Exterminators was founded in 1969 by Ralph James Townsend Jr. It was acquired in 2022 by Anticimex, a Swedish pest control company with operations across multiple international markets. Anticimex partners with regional pest control businesses and supports long-term growth through operational expertise, technology and shared best practices.
The Pest Control Plus transaction, meanwhile, marks Tyro Group’s entry into the Canadian market and represents a milestone in the company’s continued expansion across North America.
Founded in 2004 and based in Concord, Ontario, Pest Control Plus provides residential, commercial, and property management pest control services throughout the province. Owner and CEO Mark Joseph acquired Pest Control Plus in 2019 and has since grown the company into a team of nearly 60 employees.
Based in Elverum, Norway, Tyro Group now provides pest control in nine countries: the USA, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Norway, Sweden, the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom.
