One of nature’s outdoorsy species
The Pennsylvania wood cockroach (Parcoblatta pennsylvanica) is found in wooded areas, under loose bark and in rotting logs. It is not a common household pest and does not reproduce indoors. It may be brought indoors on firewood, or males — which have long, well-developed wings — may enter by flying through open windows and doors.
