William Spitz, Class of 2006
Bill Spitz was our “cover guy” for the November 1971 issue of what was then known as Pest Control magazine. In addition to presiding over the organization as president in the early days of dealing with the newly founded U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Spitz introduced a Public Education Program, or PEP, to members of the National Pest Control (now Management) Association. This idea survives today through the association’s Professional Pest Management Alliance.
