Truly Nolen Pest Control promoted Scarlett Nolen to president, effective March 1.

Prior to her promotion, Nolen was the district manager for the “Growth District,” a district of new service offices throughout Florida, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California. Her district led the company in net gain the past three years.

Over the past year, Nolen joined the executive team. Subsequently, the shareholders of the company elected her to the board of directors.

Nolen has worked for the company since 2012, when she graduated the manager-in-training program and successfully opened and managed the Lake Mary, Fla., service office.

Nolen also launched the Truly Development Program, allowing her to focus on systematic development of team members across the company.

Prior to joining the company, Nolen graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in experimental psychology and summa cum laude from the University of Central Florida with a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy.

“I have learned so much about operations, talent development, day-to-day management and forecasting over the past seven years and am happy to have the opportunity to lead us into the next decade and beyond,” says Nolen. “I am excited about where we are as a company and where we can go in the future.”

“Scarlett brings the Nolen family heritage and passion, with an immediate eye and focus on the healthy future of our company to this position,” says her brother Scott Nolen, Truly Nolen CEO. Their father was the late company founder, Truly David Nolen. “Her distinctive connection to our multi-generational family legacy, coupled with her tenure in growing our customer and employee base, uniquely qualifies her to guide us in her new role.”
