Atlanta, Ga.-based Arrow Exterminators acquired West Palm Beach, Fla.-based Tropical Pest Management Inc. This transaction will provide Arrow the opportunity to expand its footprint in the Florida market and serve residential and commercial customers throughout Palm Beach and Martin counties.

“We are pleased to welcome the customers and team members of Tropical Pest Management to the Arrow family,” says Emily Thomas Kendrick, president and CEO of Arrow Exterminators, in a press release. “These team members have a strong commitment to the local community and a passion for providing an outstanding customer experience, which makes them a perfect strategic fit for Arrow. This new location will operate under our Stark Exterminators brand and gives us a total of 27 service centers throughout the state of Florida.”

“When we started exploring selling our business, we were looking to identify a company that provides great customer service and is passionate about how both customers and team members are treated. We are proud to join a fellow family-owned and operated company and be a part of the Arrow family,” says Tropical Pest Management owner Jim Wright in a press release. “I’m truly excited that my employees will have many growth opportunities and Arrow will be able to offer an expanded range of services to offer our customers.”

Early this year, Arrow expanded in southwest Florida by opening a new Home Service Center in Bradenton, Fla., serving the markets of Bradenton, Sarasota, Tampa and St. Petersburg. The Home Service Center operates as Hughes Exterminators.

“Florida is a very important state to us as we look to expand our footprint and bring our service to more new markets,” states Tim Pollard, Arrow’s senior executive VP and COO, in a press release. “We continuously look to merge with high-quality companies who share our goals, principles and culture, and I believe we found a great fit with Tropical Pest Management.”
