The Professional Pest Management Alliance (PPMA), which serves as the consumer education and marketing arm of the National Pest Management Association (NPMA), appointed Ben Walker of Greenville, S.C.-based Gregory Pest Solutions to its board of directors.

The PPMA board of directors, comprised of representatives from various pest management companies, is committed to supporting PPMA’s mission of protecting public health, food and property and increasing consumer awareness of the value of professional pest control services.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ben to the PPMA board of directors, as he is a seasoned professional that will help further our mission to grow, protect, promote and defend our incredible industry,” says PPMA Chairman Bobby Jenkins. “Gregory Pest Solutions has been an integral PPMA member for many years, and Ben’s leadership and presence will be an invaluable addition to our board.”

Walker has been a longtime leader in the pest control industry, previously serving as president of the South Carolina Pest Control Association, director for the NPMA and vice chair for Copesan Services, among other positions.

He has been with Gregory Pest Solutions since 1997 and has served as president since 2005. During his tenure, he has helped Gregory to grow in the southeastern and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States.

“Gregory Pest Solutions is committed to growing and supporting the pest control industry,” says Walker. “I am so grateful for the opportunity to continue to help guide and improve the image of our industry in my new role as a member of the PPMA board of directors.”
