Dr. Stuart Mitchell, BCE, principal technical director for PestWest USA LLC, received the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award.
The award is one of the highest distinctions available through Marquis Who’s Who, a family of publications providing coverage of the lives of today’s leaders and achievers from the United States and around the world, and from many different fields of endeavor. The award is bestowed upon less than 5 percent of Marquis Who’s Who listed professionals and is based upon career longevity, philanthropic endeavors and lasting contributions to society.
Dr. Mitchell has been in the pest management industry since 1982, and has served as a technical specialist, technical director, consultant, expert-witness, columnist, author, lecturer, speaker, technical director for the National Pest Management Association (NPMA), and BCE Director in 2009.
Among Dr. Mitchell’s many credentials is the Certified Forensic Consultant (CFC) designation from the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute (ACFEI). The CFC program recognizes a forensic consultant’s training, experience and dedication to the highest standards in the American judicial system. Forensic consultants are well-trained specialists who are often brought into court cases to provide objective analysis, expert opinions, and specialized knowledge of evidence.
He is also an Accredited Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (UK) and Board Certified in Urban, Industrial, Medical, and Veterinary Entomology.
Dr. Mitchell has also served as a technical editor for Pest Management Professional (PMP) and is currently a regular contributor to PMP‘s Direct To You technical e-newsletter series.
