With a network of distribution facilities throughout the United States, Mexico and Canada, Austin, Texas-based Veseris has named Karl J. Kisner as its director of corporate strategy. The 30-year industry veteran will join the company July 8, and according to a news release, will focus on:

  • Driving customer activation and engagement to improve the overall customer experience.
  • Developing new opportunities for growth in both existing and synergistic markets.
  • Deepening supplier relationships to provide the right solutions and product needs to customers.

“I am very honored to join Veseris, and work again with my previous teammates from Univar ES,” Kisner said in the news release. “This is a great opportunity to help further build this new, fully independent company with a strong focus on growth. I truly value the fact that though the name may be different, our commitment is always about helping our customers succeed by providing the best-in-class products and services.”

Veseris CEO Trace McEuen noted in the release that, “having had the opportunity to work with Karl both as a customer and a peer, I truly appreciate his knowledge, experience, and vision. I look forward to working closely with him again to grow this new business enterprise.”

Veseris is the new brand identity of Univar Environmental Solutions (ES), having formally made the change in March 2020. The ES division was purchased in January 2020 by private equity firm AEA Investors from Univar Solutions.

Univar ES’ product purchasing, ProTraining course histories, PestWeb, Inventory Manager, and all other services have transitioned over to Veseris, as did more than 70 ProCenter locations across North America. At the time of the announcement, McEuen explained in a news release that, “In Veseris, we find a name that has a strong meaning. Veseris means impact. Together with our partners at AEA, we are writing a new chapter on the way we will serve our customers and partner with suppliers in all the markets we serve. AEA understands our business model and is willing to provide the capital and leadership for our business to grow.”
