In Lubbock, Texas, Fox Pest Control raised $1,000 for The Inside Out Foundation by participating in and helping set up an annual shootout event in the West Texas area on Aug. 15.
“I had an amazing time at the West Texas Shootout with my Fox Pest Control team,” Fox Pest Control service manager Emmanuel Gaytan said. “Thank you to Alexis Arnold for hosting the event. We can’t wait to do it again next year.”
The West Texas Shootout is the foundation’s biggest event of the year, where local businesses get together and shoot to raise money. The event brings in revenue needed for the nonprofit to continue to supply services that help cancer patients and trauma survivors feel beautiful inside and out.
“We’re very excited about this event. It singlehandedly provides a lot of the funding we need to provide quality services,” said Executive Director Alexis Arnold. “It’s grown to be the biggest charity event in town.”
Fox Pest Control has a reputation for giving back. In April, for example, the company worked with customers to collect non-perishable food items for those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. Technicians collected items from customer doorsteps during their scheduled treatment. The items were disinfected, stored and delivered to the local organizations.
In May, it raised $1,100 to fight childhood poverty via a virtual Red Nose Day event. And on June 19, it helped host a drive-in graduation ceremony for Premier High School, a Pharr, Texas-based facility designed for credit recovery and early graduation.
Founded in 2012, Fox Pest Control offers residential and commercial pest control services, has served more than 50,000 customers and has 18 branch locations nationwide.
