The Detroit Free Press named Rose Pest Solutions, based in Troy, Mich., one of the Top Workplaces in Michigan for the third consecutive year.
Rose Pest Solutions is also celebrating its 160th anniversary this year as a family-owned and -operated pest management company. The business provides residential and commercial pest control services. Company technicians receive ongoing education and training, which allows them to provide services with the latest in pest control technology.
“What a way to round-out our 160th year in business. This kind of recognition by a publication as trusted and respected as the Detroit Free Press speaks volumes to the family business we’ve built over the years,” said Russ Ives, CEO of Rose Pest Solutions. “Operating an essential business during a pandemic is challenging, but our team atmosphere and positive attitude from our employees across the company, not just in Michigan, is a true testament to our culture. We love our employees and take their feedback and opinions very seriously, because the key to a great business is to have great people here with you.”
Only 150 businesses in Michigan were named to the list this year. The Detroit Free Press partnered with Philadelphia, Pa.-based Energage, an employee research and culture technology firm, to determine the winners. The annual list of the top places to work in Michigan is based on employee surveys.
The winners are highlighted in three different categories: large business, mid-size business, and small business. Rose Pest Solutions has been recognized in the mid-size category; a designation that helps set it apart from other Michigan companies providing similar services. The mid-size category is for companies that employ between 150 and 499 people.
“In times of great change, it is more important than ever to maintain a connection among employees,” said Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage. “When you give your employees a voice, you come together to navigate challenges and shape your path forward based on real-time insights into what works best for your organization.”
