“Hawx’s commitment to sustainability is not just a corporate initiative but a moral imperative,” said one of the Stevie Awards judges. The company’s proactive stance not only sets a high benchmark for industry peers but also positions them as trailblazers in shaping a greener, more sustainable future for all.

The Ogden, Utah-based pest control company said its robust sustainability initiatives stand as a testament to its unwavering dedication to environmental stewardship and corporate responsibility. Through strategic partnerships, innovative solutions and structural optimizations, it has successfully integrated sustainability into its core ethos. From reforestation efforts to fleet modernization and remote work policies, Hawx exemplifies a holistic approach to reducing its carbon footprint and promoting ecological balance. In 2022, the company expanded its green smart program, switching to hybrid vehicles in an effort to improve the environment.

The American Business Awards program is open to all organizations operating in the U.S., whether public, private, for-profit, non-profit, large and small. Categories include Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Thought Leader of the Year, App of the Year, and others.

The awards, which are nicknamed Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” will be presented at a ceremony on June 11, at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.

This year, more than 3,700 nominations from organizations were submitted for consideration. More than 300 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select the 2024 Stevie Award winners.

“While growth in much of the world economy has recovered slowly from the COVID-19 pandemic, the American economy continues to show remarkable resilience and growth,” said Stevie Awards president Maggie Miller. “Our 2024 Stevie winners have contributed to that successful recovery through their innovation, persistence and hard work. We congratulate all our winners in the 2024 American Business Awards and look forward to celebrating their achievements during our awards banquet in New York.”
