On May 6, Ecolab finalized its acquisition of Pest Management Services Inc. (PMSI), headquartered in Ashburn, Va. Details of the transaction were not disclosed. LR Tullius represented and acted as exclusive financial advisor to PMSI in the transaction.
Founded in 1986, PMSI provides residential and commercial pest control services to customers through three offices in Virginia and West Virginia. Its service coverage area includes the states of Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia.
“We were able to build PMSI into a sizable regional pest control company,” former CEO Patty Pierleonardi said in a news release from LR Tullius. “When I decided to sell the company, I chose Ecolab because we wanted a ‘business-as-usual’ environment for our employees, but also the promise of an exciting future. I believe that Ecolab has the expertise and ability to take PMSI to the next level.”
