Louisville, Ky.-based Okolona Pest Control (OPC), a Rollins company, acquired McGee Pest Control and Toby’s Pest Control. McGee and Toby’s have three locations between them located in Kentucky.
McGee Pest Control was founded in 1962 by Ocie McGee in Hopkinsville, Ky. Ocie’s son Mark McGee, one of the owners up until the sale to Okolona, became the president of McGee Pest Control in 1982. In 1984, an office was opened in Murray, Ky., and a new entity was established, led by Ocie’s other son, Rick McGee.
McGee and Toby’s combine to service Hopkinsville, Murray and Bowling Green, Ky., as well as Middle Tennessee. They provide pest control and termite services to residential and commercial customers as well as fumigation services to mostly agricultural, tobacco and food processing facilities.
“I’m very thankful and grateful that we were able to find the right fit for our business and be able to partner with the Okolona and Rollins teams,” said Mark McGee. “I believe our people are in the best position to be able to grow and benefit from additional future opportunities.”
LR Tullius represented and acted as exclusive financial advisor to McGee Pest Control in connection with the transactions.
