Sadly, there is no magic wand for bed bug remediation. While we all wish we could solve bed bug problems with a single one-and-done product, the truth is you need a comprehensive approach if you want long-term results. No single spray, dust, encasement or heat treatment will completely protect your clients from reintroductions after a few months from application. Remember, bed bugs are amazing hitchhikers, cryptic hiders and apartment hoppers. If they find their way into your clients’ homes after a one-off treatment, you’ll start from scratch again.

It’s an expensive and time-consuming process to go through over and over for a temporary solution. An integrated strategy is the only cost- and time-effective way to treat for bed bugs. We recommend a comprehensive approach for long-lasting results. That means professional vacuuming to “debulk” the problem, then heat, insecticide or bio-pesticide treatment to remediate the initial infestation. Lastly, install permethrin-impregnated mattress liners to prevent reintroductions or re-emergences from becoming reinfestations.
