Truly Nolen Pest Control announced the promotion of Valerie Ryan to director of administrative services, leading management teams in both the company’s East and West Centralized Administration Centers. Her office will remain based out of the company’s corporate headquarters in Tucson, Ariz.
Ryan, who has been with Truly Nolen since 2012, was most recently manager of the then-newly created position of manager, West Admin Center. Over the last seven years, as she demonstrated a mastery of that new role, she worked with team members across the company to improve and evolve many internal processes to smooth out the flow between operations, the admin centers and the accounting and payroll departments. She also helped the company implement two company-wide changes: the migration to Sage HCM for payroll, and the company’s organizational transformation to the Hub and Spoke model.
Prior to joining the company, Ryan worked in customer service for a window coverings company in Indiana within its government benefits division. She has attended Northern Arizona University and Arizona State University for business management and psychology and continues to pursue a degree.
“The two things that excite me most about my new role are to mentor and learn from as many team members as I can and to continue reviewing and strategizing our core processes no matter how big or small to become as efficient and collaborative as possible,” said Ryan in a news release. “My favorite thing about working for Truly Nolen is the ability to honestly work your way up in the company and utilize your strengths for the betterment of the company and yourself.”
