Mosquito Authority and Pest Authority of Hickory, a locally owned franchise of Charlotte, N.C.-based Main Line Brands, has acquired Quality Control Inc., a locally owned pest control company in Statesville, N.C.
Steve Dowdle has owned and operated Quality Control Inc. since 2017 and has 46 years of experience in the pest control industry. His son and grandson have both worked for the company over the years.
“It’s been an honor to provide pest control services to this community for so many years,” Dowdle said in a news release announcing the transaction. “I’ve had the privilege of building lasting relationships with our customers and working alongside my family. I’m confident that Mosquito Authority and Pest Authority will continue to deliver the quality service our customers have come to expect, while bringing additional resources and opportunities to better serve their needs.”
With the acquisition, Dowdle is retiring from the industry. He plans to stay in the area and spend more time with his family.
Quality Control Inc. technicians will remain in place. Their customers will now have access to the expanded resources, technology and pest management services of Mosquito Authority and Pest Authority.
