Cetane Associates, a New Milford, Conn.-based financial advisory and transaction firm providing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) expertise to the home services industries, announced that Delaware Valley Turf, located in Broomall, Pa., acquired Emerald Green Lawns, located in Middletown, Del.
Delaware Valley Turf provides lawn care and pest control services to residential and commercial customers in northern Delaware and the Philadelphia metro. Founded in 2008, the company has experienced significant growth over the past 16 years.
“We are thrilled to be expanding and we will remain committed to delivering the same reliable, high-quality service that Emerald Green Lawns has consistently provided to its customers over the years,” said Matt McGuire, president of Delaware Valley Turf.
Cetane served as the sole arranger and financial advisor to Emerald Green Lawns. Cetane advised on the sale, including an initial valuation opinion, marketing the business through a confidential process, assisting in negotiating the final deal terms and coordinating the due diligence process. Team members Bob Williamson, Ford DuBose, Fred Lord And Dalton Brooks managed the transaction.
