Pest Control Insulation
Effective ant treatment involves a combination of prevention, control methods and ongoing monitoring. Start by identifying the specific ant species, as this can influence treatment strategies. Seal entry points around windows, doors and foundations to prevent access. Instruct customers to keep living or work spaces clean by promptly cleaning spills and storing food in airtight containers.
For control, use baiting systems. Commercial ant baits containing slow-acting insecticides are particularly effective, as ants carry the bait back to their colony, eliminating it at the source. Naturally occurring pesticides such as boric acid can also attract and control ants.
If necessary, apply insecticide barriers around the structure’s perimeter and in the attic, as it is an overlooked access to the structure. Regularly inspect for signs of ant activity, especially during warmer months, to catch potential infestations early.
