Cetane Associates, a Houston, Texas-based financial advisory and transaction firm providing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) expertise to the home services industries, confirms the acquisition of its client, JNJ Pest Control, to Atlanta, Ga.-based Orkin Pest Control. The transaction was completed on April 13, 2026; financial details were not disclosed. Cetane team members Bob Williamson, Danny O’Laughlin and Jack McMurchie managed the transaction.
Based in Newburgh, N.Y., JNJ Pest Control was founded in 2009 by John Taylor. In a news release, he noted that “working with Cetane made the whole process smooth from start to finish. JNJ’s customers can count on the same level of service they’ve come to expect. We know they’re in good hands with Rollins.”
Orkin Division President Art Watson added in the news release, “We’re proud to bring JNJ Pest Control into the Orkin family. Their community ties and loyal customers are an important part of our continued growth in New York. Preserving that trust and delivering excellent service will remain a top priority moving forward.”
