Employ the energy of PestWorld

If you’re attending PestWorld 2025, I’d love to meet you in person. I’ll be spending time with PCO Bookkeepers in booth 812, and I’d be thrilled to connect — whether to talk about your business goals, leadership challenges, or what’s next in your growth journey.

PestWorld is one of my favorite times of year. It’s where the energy of our industry comes alive — where friends reconnect, ideas flow freely, and the collective excitement of thousands of pest control professionals fills the air. You can feel it everywhere: in the hallways, at the booths, in the coffee lines. Everyone’s eager to learn, share and grow.

But here’s the thing: PestWorld is just the beginning. The real opportunity comes when you take that inspiration home and do something with it. You can attend every session, collect a stack of business cards, and still lose momentum if you don’t put what you’ve learned into action. Growth doesn’t happen in the moment of learning; it happens in the moment of implementation.

Make connections

Over the years, I’ve found that some of the most valuable insights don’t come from the stage; they come from conversations. Talking with fellow owners, technicians and vendors about what’s working and what’s not can spark ideas you would never come up with alone. This industry is full of smart, hardworking people who genuinely want to help one another. When we open up, share our experiences and listen to others, we lift the entire industry.

As business owners and leaders, we have to stay curious. The pest control companies that grow the most are led by people who never stop learning — people who seek out new perspectives, ask tough questions, and surround themselves with others who challenge their thinking. PestWorld gives us that chance every year: to connect, reflect and return home with a renewed sense of purpose.

Learn from others

So, while you’re walking the PestWorld floor this year, take a moment to slow down. Don’t just pass by the booths; stop and talk. Ask someone what’s working for them, what they’re struggling with, or what they’ve recently learned. You might find the idea or connection that changes everything for your business.

Let’s turn the energy and connections of PestWorld into something that lasts long after the event ends.
