KNARESBOROUGH, UK—Patrick Callahan has joined P+L Systems’ North American sales team as senior territory manager for the Southern United States.

“Pat brings a lot of experience of the professional pest market with him, and is well-known and trusted by both distributors and professionals,” says Steve Jackson, general manager of the Americas, who has previously collaborated with Callahan on other projects. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to our team, and we look forward to his sales efforts.”

Prior to joining P+L Systems, Callahan gained experience of the pest control markets at both Cheminova and Roussel Bio Corp. (now Bayer Environmental Sciences) before becoming the first president of Speckoz Inc., a distributor co-operative in the professional pest management market. In recent years, Callahan led the C3 Group, offering project based sales, marketing and training to the pest industry.

“I am extremely excited about the opportunity to be a part of P+L Systems’ plans for growth in the American market,” he says. “I first saw the new Synergetic flylights on display at PestWorld in Boston back in October 2012, and was I attracted, like many others, by the glowing green Synergetic bulbs and the contemporary sleek flylight designs. I believe that P+L Systems are offering a range of unique products, including the new BaitSafe — the only wall and ceiling void bait station for rats, mice, roaches, bedbugs, scorpions, bed bugs and stored product pests. With so many new developments, I am thrilled to be part of this growth opportunity.”
