GREENSBORO, N.C. — On April 13, Middle District of North Carolina Judge William Osteen Jr. filed a memorandum granting a temporary restraining order against Makhteshim Agan of North America Inc. The move prevents the company from selling or marketing fipronil-related products.

The move was in response to a motion filed by BASF Agro on April 4. BASF is currently in litigation with Makhteshim over patent infringement regarding fipronil.
