SCHAUMBURG, ILL. — The Tennessee Pest Control Association (TPCA) awarded Drew Lockhart of Central Life Scienceswith its Lifetime Achievement Award for his continued work and dedication to the pest control industry. The Lifetime Achievement Award is given annually to an individual who goes beyond normal work standards and continually strives to make a difference in the pest control industry.
“After receiving nominations all year long from each region of Tennessee, the Board of Directors meets to discuss nominees and to vote for the Lifetime Achievement Award recipient,” says Al Foster Jr., Chairman of the TPCA Lifetime Achievement Award Committee. “Drew Lockhart’s extensive experience and longevity within the pest control industry immediately stood out to us, and we believe that his countless positive efforts and innovative approach to industry problems make him the best choice for this well-deserved honor.”Lockhart is currently national account manager for the Zoëcon Professional Products Division, where he is responsible for Central Life Sciences’ professional pest management and vector markets. In this role, he oversees sales, training and customer support for pest management professionals, mosquito abatement districts and public health agencies. He began his tenure with the company in 2000. Also during his time at Central Life Sciences, he has served on the
Alabama Vector Management Society Board as a vendor liaison, editor and finally director.

Drew’s lifetime commitment to the industry is a prime example of why he deserves this award for striving to make improvements in the pest control industry.”Lockhart’s extensive experience in the pest control industry began in early 1980s after he graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s of science degree in entomology and biology. He worked as a technical representative for Rohm and Haas and then Cooks Pest Control, where he earned top sales recognition for his two-year tenure.
From the late 1980s to the early 1990s, Lockhart served for two years on the North Carolina Pest Control Association Board of Directors as a vendor representative, and then served on the Virginia Pest Control Board of Directors for one year. During this time he held several positions at Van Waters and Rogers (now Univar) in North Carolina.
He also worked for Micro-Gen for several years during the 1990s as a technical representative for the Southeast U.S. until he was promoted to marketing manager. In this position, he increased the company’s market share of ant products by 15 percent and also introduced the industry’s first commercial carpenter ant bait.
Lockhart currently resides in Huntsville, Ala., with his wife and two sons.
