MADISON, WIS. — Phillip Burkett joined Bell Laboratories in August as a technical sales representative for the north central United States, representing Bell products to distributors and pest management professionals (PMPs) in North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas and western Tennessee.
Burkett works with Bell distributors on the use and promotion of Bell’s rodent control products and advises them on developing new markets for products. He assists in developing training programs for their sales staff and local technicians.
In the field, Burkett accompanies distributor reps and technicians on inspections at rodent infestation sites, providing technical assistance on pest control strategies. He also represents Bell at national trade shows and distributor sales meetings.
A 2009 graduate of Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kan., Burkett holds a bachelor of science degree with an emphasis in business marketing. Since 2009, he has worked for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, most recently as assistant manager at the Kansas City International Airport where, in addition to sales and marketing, he developed business partnerships with local accounts and managed the selection, training and development of management trainees. He was a frequent recipient of Top Sales and Performance awards for outstanding customer service and followthrough.
Burkett is based in Kansas City, Mo.
