MINEOLA, N.Y. — Knockout Pest Control, Uniondale, N.Y., will offer free pest management (for the next 90 days, up to $100,000) to residents of Long Beach that had been affected by Superstorm Sandy.

“I’m very grateful for people like Arthur to step up in this time of need, and help people in Long Beach recover and get back on their feet,” says Nassau County Legislature Minority Leader Kevan Abrahams, referring to Knockout President Arthur Katz.

“Following the catastrophic flooding that we had, ensuring our city’s safety is critical,” agrees Long Beach City manager Jack Schnirman. “We are extremely grateful for folks like Arthur who are helping to take the financial burden off our residents.”

Katz says he and his team are “proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with fellow Long Island residents.”

“The employees of Knockout are eager to step up to help the residents and commercial owners of Long Beach in order to avoid unnecessary ill health effects from rodents and vermin,” he adds.
