FAIRFAX, VA.—The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) is looking for your help to identify the most innovative and exciting speakers for PestWorld 2013. PestWorld, the premier event in the professional pest management industry, will be held at the Phoenix Convention Center Oct. 22-25, 2013.

Last year, more than 3,100 pest management professionals (PMPs) — including a record number of international representatives — enthusiastically navigated more than 100,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space and attended more than 80 educational sessions during PestWorld. With expert-led educational workshops, attendees discovered the latest business trends, learned about cutting-edge research in urban entomology and earned valuable continuing education credits toward recertification.

Please take the time to consider recommending a speaker to lead an educational session at PestWorld 2013 by clicking here to complete the Speaker Recommendation/Application.

The information collected will help the PestWorld Planning Committee identify speakers and make decisions regarding the content of the program. Please feel free to provide multiple speaker names and topics. NPMA welcomes both technical and business-related sessions.

Speaker suggestions may include, but are not limited to:

  • academics
  • business owners
  • technical experts
  • consultants from within and outside the industry
  • subject matter experts in sales, marketing, information technology, and human resources
  • other “outside of the box” ideas that no one has seen in the past

Self-nominations are welcome.

Please note: Educational programs cannot be product- or vendor-specific. Educational sessions proposed for PestWorld 2013 may focus on specific technology, methodology, or theory, but not on a sole manufacturer or product.

The deadline for submission is Feb. 22, 2013.
